CLL/SLL & health

Understand & living with CLL/SLL.

Canadian, plain-language education and peer connection for people living with chronic lymphocytic leukemia or small lymphocytic lymphoma—and the people supporting them.

Educational information, not medical advice. Use these resources to support—not replace—conversations with your healthcare team.

Why I created this

You don’t have to navigate this alone

My personal CLL journey began with a phone call and the words, “You have cancer.”

Living with CLL/SLL brings questions that are not always answered during a short medical appointment. Test results can be confusing, terminology can feel overwhelming and even “watch and wait” can create anxiety rather than reassurance.

I created CLL/SLL & Health because I understand what it is like to live with these uncertainties. It offers clear explanations, practical questions and information intended to help people participate more confidently in their care.

This content does not replace professional medical advice, and every person’s experience is different. My goal is to help patients and caregivers feel better informed, less isolated and more prepared to ask questions, understand their options and advocate effectively for the care they need.

Peer support with a Canadian focus
